Thank you for choosing Speecho (“App”). This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”, “Terms of Use”) is a legal agreement between you (“you”, “user”) and Speecho (“we,” “us,” “our”) governing your use of the Speecho mobile application and all related services.

By downloading, installing, or using Speecho, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

• Download, install, and use Speecho solely for personal, non-commercial purposes on your mobile device.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App.
• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.

2. User Content and Permissions

• Files and Text Input: When you upload documents, images, or text for text-to-speech conversion, you retain full ownership of your content. We process it only to provide speech output.
• Camera and Scanning: If you grant camera access, Speecho may scan text from images. The captured data is processed temporarily and deleted after conversion.
• Third-Party Integrations: Optional integrations (e.g., Amazon Kindle or other reading libraries) are used only to extract text you authorize for speech conversion.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use, upload, or convert any content you submit.

3. Intellectual Property

All rights, titles, and interests in Speecho—including software, design, audio voices, and trademarks—remain the exclusive property of Speecho. This Agreement does not grant you any ownership rights in the App or its content.

4. Subscription and Payments

• Speecho may offer free features and premium subscriptions.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store Account Settings.
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

By using Speecho, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Prohibited Uses

• Use the App to generate, share, or distribute content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, pornographic, or infringes intellectual-property rights.
• Attempt to interfere with the App’s operation or access its backend systems.
• Misuse any voice models, speech outputs, or integrations for deceptive purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Speecho is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your intended use.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Speecho and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies from your device.

10. Apple App Store Terms

• This Agreement is between you and Speecho, not Apple Inc.
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this Agreement and may enforce it against you.
• You must comply with the App Store Terms of Service when using Speecho.
• If Speecho fails to conform to applicable warranties, you may notify Apple, which will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no further warranty obligations.

11. Updates and Modifications

We may modify or update Speecho or these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be available within the App or on our website. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of your country or region, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
